Our Story

The Courier Printing Corporation first started printing in May of 1848 in Deposit, NY, a small town on the NY-PA border.

Courier Printing has advanced through many stages of printing including hot-lead linotype to modern day cold type process which includes: computerized typesetting, computer to plate pre-press, and offset, web and digital printing.

In 1998, Courier Printing left its printing facility, built in the early 1920s, on Front St. Deposit and moved across the river to the former Valley Offset building, a much larger 55,000 square foot facility on Laurel Bank Avenue. Originally built in the 1950’s specifically as a printing plant, “Valley’s” printing company had closed in the early 1990’s. The building remained vacant and, in 1998, was purchased by Courier Printing Corporation. This soon became home to Courier Printing, overlooking the West Branch of the Delaware River, the best natural brown trout fishing in the world, and home to protected eagles: both bald and golden eagles. We treasure our wildlife and it’s a joy to see them almost on a daily basis.

“You’ve got a friend in the printing business” has aways been a motto for Courier Printing meaning that Courier’s customer service is exemplary, and the quality of printing is second to none, while keeping costs low. Friends give friends the best quality at the best price, and that’s what everyone can expect from the Courier Printing Corporation.
